Social media. Wow.
I was an early Facebook user, at least for Denmark. But at one point, when the Internet started discussing (for me, 2009) how Facebook actually owned and were selling images and other types of content, I thought it was time to give it a rest. It turned out I would need it for work, but when that was done, I closed it down. I have opened and closed it several times since. It gets on my nerves, but there are so many people I know. I actually get to share things with my family.
But yeah. And Twitter is the same, especially nowadays where the notifications are not really related to me, and the timeline is all kinds of stuff and the notifications are... some kinds of stuff. Cute. Not cool.
One of the times Facebook was frustrating me, I registered with the Diaspora network on Diasp.org. It was crowdfunded in 2010.
